NC State Wolfpack

It’s been an awesome offseason so far for Coach Kevin Keatts and the Wolfpack. They’ve already landed five transfers, including two guards in Butler’s Jayden Taylor and DJ Horne, who was second in scoring on Arizona State’s roster. The biggest pickup overall may be wing MJ Rice, a former five-star prospect and transfer from Kansas.

What NC State doesn’t have is a true point guard on the roster. Casey Morsell could be that guy but while he’s a double-digit scorer, running an offense isn’t something he’s done. They were rumored to be in play for Alabama transfer Jaden Bradley but if they don’t get him, could be a team that looks at Dennis as the missing piece for next season.

Nebraska Cornhuskers

The Cornhuskers have landed a couple of transfers so far in forward Rienk Mast, along with shooting guard Brice Williams from Charlotte. They were in the mix for Gonzaga transfer guard Hunter Sallis but recently lost him to Wake Forest this week.

With Sam Griesel moving on, Nebraska doesn’t have a true point guard that’s proven on the roster. They have multiple off-guards, including Williams and returning Keisei Tominaga. But they need a ball-handler to feel comfortable for next year. Dennis is from Big Ten country and would be a perfect fit, though the Cornhuskers will need to beat out some bigger names.
