The NCAA Basketball transfer portal isn’t exciting on just the men’s side but also for the women, with several All-American caliber players entering. One of them is Aneesah Morrow, a 6’1 forward originally from Chicago that has played the last two seasons at DePaul University.

She instantly became one of the most impactful players in the sport. Morrow averaged 21.9 ppg and 13.8 rpg as a freshman, easily breaking many records for the Blue Demons. Her college debut was going for 31 points, nine rebounds, and four steals in a win over Texas Southern. The forward went for 22 points and 27 rebounds (13 offensive) against Seton Hall, along with 41 points and 18 rebounds on 16/26 shooting in a win over Creighton.

Morrow managed to put up even better stats as a sophomore this past season, averaging 25.7 ppg and 12.2 rpg, both good for top-10 in the entire spot. Just a few examples of her gaudy statistics include a 31-point and 22-rebound performance against Providence, 42 points versus Cleveland State, and 45 points in a road win over Northwestern.

Once she hit the transfer portal, Morrow became one of the most sought-after players in NCAA Basketball history. But all of the potential options have been limited to just three programs; LSU, South Carolina, and USC.

All three teams reached the NCAA Tournament this past season and have plenty to offer Morrow. But which of them makes the most sense? Here’s my breakdown of each potential landing spot and seeing the pros and cons.
