Connecticut

The Huskies just won the national championship last season and are bringing back a roster that might just have the firepower to get the job done again. They boast one of the top recruiting classes in the nation and will get Tristen Newton and Andre Jackson Jr. back in the backcourt, but they could certainly use Dingle’s boost on offense.

Connecticut has to replace the production lost by Adama Sanogo and Jordan Hawkins and landing Dingle would certainly be a consolation prize to missing out on Towson guard Nick Timberlake. He’s a great shooter and all-around talent who’s already starred at nearby Penn and could fit in well with Hurley’s system. Landing with the defending champions would also give him a great shot at proving his stuff on the national stage.

Indiana

After losing Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jalen Hood-Schifino, the Hoosiers are certainly looking for new ways to manufacture offense. They’ll have Xavier Johnson back healthy to lead this backcourt, but adding someone with Dingle’s shooting talent would certainly be a major win if this team wants to compete near the top of the Big Ten again.

Indiana has already added big men like Kel’el Ware and Payton Sparks but getting Dingle would be a major victory for Mike Woodson and his staff. A pure scoring guard like Dingle would do wonders, especially surrounded by all that frontcourt talent. We’ll have to see how involved the Hoosiers will be; they could certainly use his shooting touch.
