7. Ole Miss Rebels

One theme of prospects in the offseason is that many times, they’ll follow their respective head coach if they move from one spot to another. And remember, it was Coach Beard that got the commitment of Holland, not Terry.

He’s now at Ole Miss and is in the middle of rebuilding the roster. So far, he’s landed a trio of transfers this offseason, including Georgetown wing Brandon Murray, Arizona State guard Austin Nunez, and most recently, Western Kentucky big man, Jamarion Sharp.

Sharp is a 7’5 center that leads NCAA Basketball in shots blocked. Having a dynamic forward next to him is needed for the Rebels to have a good offense. They do bring back double-digit scoring forward Jaemyn Brakefield but Holland would be an upgrade on both ends.

Currently, the former Longhorns commit would be the best player on the Ole Miss roster and the focal point of the offense. And playing for a coach he’s already given his commitment to would make sense. Had this roster had a little more proven talent to compete in the SEC, I would’ve had the Rebels a bit higher. But don’t be shocked to at least see him and the team reach out.
