25. Jacob Groves – Oklahoma to Virginia

2022-23 season stats: 6.8 ppg and 2.5 rpg

Groves is a 6’7 wing that started 22 games and shot a career-high 38% from three-point range last season. He had a few big games, including 26 points on 4/6 shooting against Central Arkansas. Virginia added a pair of mid-major transfers (Andrew Rohde and Jordan Minor) but could use a veteran power conference guy that can contribute in the ACC. Assuming that Armaan Frankin remains in the NBA Draft, Groves could be the new starter at the three-spot.

24. Qudus Wahab – Georgetown to Penn State

2022-23 season stats: 9.6 ppg and 7.1 rpg

In one of the more wild NCAA Basketball career arcs, Wahab will not have played at Georgetown twice and now the Big Ten twice. He was solid this past season and will be a veteran post-player for a rebuilding Nittany Lion team. Coach Mike Rhoades had added a few defensive pieces and Wahab can fit that for a year.

23. Joseph Yesufu – Kansas to Washington State

2022-23 season stats: 4.1 ppg and 1.2 rpg

Yesufu has a national championship on his resume thanks to his two years at Kansas but he played fairly little as well. As a sophomore at Drake, the 6’0 guard averaged 12.8 ppg mostly off the bench, including back-to-back 30+ point games then. Washington State will hope to see that version as a replacement for TJ Bamba, who is now at Villanova.
