22. Hunter Sallis – Gonzaga to Wake Forest

2022-23 season stats: 4.5 ppg and 2.2 rpg

A former five-star prospect, Sallis was in the rotation for the Elite 8 Bulldogs but was never an offensive threat in two seasons. He goes to Coach Steve Forbes and Wake Forest, who turned two other former transfers (Tyree Appleby and Alondes Williams), into stars in the ACC. If they can do the same with the athletic Sallis, the Deacons could remain a contender in the league.

21. Noah Reynolds – Wyoming to Green Bay

2022-23 season stats: 14.5 ppg and 2.1 apg

Reynolds was a breakout sophomore at Wyoming, second in scoring, and had seven of at least 20 points. One of them was a 30-point effort against Texas A&M-Commerce. He had originally committed to Wisconsin earlier this offseason but opted to part ways and join one of the worst teams in NCAA Basketball last season in Green Bay but instantly becomes one of the best players in the Horizon League.

20. Jose Placer – North Florida to South Florida

2022-23 season stats: 14.0 ppg and 2.9 apg

The 6’1 guard was a three-year starter at North Florida, averaging at least 14 ppg in all of them. Placer shot 37% from three-point range this year and had both a 30-point game against Jacksonville and a 32-point and five-assist game against Lipscomb. Placer joins a South Florida roster that’s undergone a complete rebuild under new head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim. He brought with him a few key pieces from the Kennesaw State team that won the Atlantic Sun and now with Placer has found its lead guard at the AAC level.
