13. DJ Davis – UC Davis to Butler

2022-23 season stats: 15.0 ppg and 2.1 rpg

Whether coming off the bench in limited time or as a full-time starter, Davis proved in three years of UC Davis that he can be a quality scorer. The 6’1 guard shot 40% from three-point range in the past two seasons and went for 20+ points on eight different occasions. Butler, who has an entirely new backcourt that lacks proven scorers, will need Davis to come in and be the go-to guy for them to have any chance.

12. Le’Tre Darthard – Utah Valley to Oklahoma

2022-23 season stats: 13.8 ppg and 3.5 rpg

The 6’4 guard had a big year on both ends for UVU, tied for second on the team in scoring while also being named to an All-Defensive team. Darthard had a 31-point game against Southern Utah, including 16/17 from the free throw line (90% on the season). He’s the kind of two-way player that the Sooners and its new-look roster need and should be able to make the transition into being a quality rotation player.

11. Quincy Guerrier – Oregon to Illinois

2022-23 season stats: 9.0 ppg and 4.6 rpg

Guerrier has started the past two years at Oregon but he wasn’t anywhere near the sophomore version of himself at Syracuse, where he averaged 13.7 ppg and 8.4 rpg. The 6’7 combo forward has versatility and is an offensive threat, though he was fairly inefficient from the field. Illinois needs a replacement for Matthew Mayer at the four-spot and if forward Coleman Hawkins remains in the NBA Draft, look for this transfer to have a sizeable role once again.
