4. Creighton Blue Jays

The Blue Jays have some question marks surrounding them heading into this upcoming season after Ryan Kalkbrenner entered the draft and the departure of Andrew Nembhard, but the Blue Jays still have a very solid roster.

This team may be one to take a step back with them losing some of their best pieces, but they still have enough around them to cause trouble in this conference.

They also replaced some of that size they miss with Kalkbrenner by picking up 6’10 forward Issac Traudt from a really solid Virginia team.

While Traudt and Kalkbrenner are very different players, they should still be a solid team down low.

Greg McDermott being such a great coach also helps and also has helped them get another solid player in the portal in Steven Ashworth.

Baylor Scheierman is a lights-out three-point shooter, but Ashworth could be just as good at that spot if not better. For Utah State, he shot 43.4 percent from behind the arc off 45.8 percent field goal shooting.

While he lacks size at 6’1, if he gets a solid open look he is knocking it down, and he can also facilitate well at that guard spot.

The Blue Jays get smaller this year, but the shooting that plagued other Big East teams last year is not going anywhere.
