After what seemed like a fairly long recruitment overall, Michigan transfer Hunter Dickinson has finally picked a new home, landing with the Kansas Jayhawks. Not only was he the best true center in the transfer portal but he also was the best overall player as well this offseason.

Kansas has its center for next season but both the teams that missed out on Dickinson, as well as several other power conference programs, also are still looking for a big man. Here’s a look at the top players that can play the five-spot that’s still available in the portal.

Honorable Mention: Daimion Collins (Kentucky)

Collins is a former five-star prospect that has been limited to just 8 mpg in the last two years behind Oscar Tshiebwe. He lost his father before the start of this season and missed a few games while being out on leave. The Atlanta, Texas native could go back home and for a larger role and there are plenty of programs that could use the big man down there.

HM: Wilhelm Breidenbach (Nebraska)

The former top-100 prospect has averaged around 12 mpg off the bench in the past two years but when on the court, Breidenbach has shown he can be a capable big man. The 6’10 and 230-pound big had 11 points versus Illinois, along with 13 points and five rebounds against Kansas State.

HM: Makhel Mitchell (Arkansas)

At three different schools, Mitchell has 59 career starts and a career 7.2 ppg average, with most of the production at Rhode Island. He didn’t do much at the power conference programs so the 6’10 and 250-pound big likely is best at the mid-major level.
