4. Warren Washington – Arizona State Sun Devils

2022-23 season stats: 9.2 ppg and 6.9 rpg

The 7’0 big man gave Arizona State what it needed as a center on both ends, including blocking nearly two shots a game. Washington had three games of 18 points, including one against Utah in Pac-12 play. He also had 10 points and 11 rebounds on the road at USC as well.

Washington has one year left and dating back to his two years at Nevada, is a clear starter at the power conference level. He’s reportedly taking visits to both Texas Tech and TCU and unless another team enters the fray, look for the Big 12 to have another big man to deal with.

3. Connor Vanover – Oral Roberts Golden Eagles

2022-23 season stats: 12.7 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 3.2 bpg

Vanover is a 7’3 center that was one of the top shot-blockers in NCAA Basketball this past season, including a season-high of eight against Western Illinois, which included 12 points and 14 rebounds as well. He also had 23 points and 10 rebounds versus Omaha as well.

The Summit League Defensive Player of the Year was a starter at both Arkansas and Cal in the past but wasn’t highly effective. So he may not be suited for the power conference level once again. But for teams that still need frontcourt depth, Vanover is a risk worth taking.
