It’s another week of decisions made by players coming out of the NCAA Basketball transfer portal. But this past week had a little more interest, one of the best overall players that entered was set to make an announcement. And that he did, which set off a domino effect throughout the sport.

Here’s a look at the 25 biggest transfer commitments, including a few elite prospects at the very top. Check out both that group and who else that flew under the radar of their respective decisions.

Honorable Mention: Elijah Fisher – Texas Tech to DePaul

Fisher was a former five-star prospect that reclassed to play this past season. The 6’6 wing averaged just 3.3 ppg in 12 mpg off the bench and scored eight points a couple of times. DePaul can afford to take a swing at a freshman with high potential looking for a big role. If things go right, Fisher could be a key figure on the team.

HM: Efton Reid – Gonzaga to Wake Forest

Reid is another five-star prospect that went from a freshman starter at LSU to a backup center that didn’t play much at Gonzaga. He joins another Bulldog transfer over to Wake Forest in Hunter Sallis that’s looking to be the next breakout transfer under Coach Steve Forbes. He’ll need a waiver to play since he’s a 2-time transfer now.

HM: Ze’Rik Onyema – UTEP to Texas

In his first year as a starter, the 6’8 forward averaged 7.1 ppg and 4.4 rpg this past season. Onyema had 19 points against Florida International and produced a double-double versus FAU the following game. He’s going to be a bench player at Texas but provides much-needed depth for the program.

HM: John Buggs – Texas-San Antonio to North Texas

The former UMass guard averaged 10.9 ppg this past season while shooting 40% from three-point range. The 6’4 shooting guard had a pair of 23-point scoring games against both Rice and UTEP, Buggs provides needed shooting to the brand-new North Texas roster and should be a starter as well.
