It’s the last week for non-graduates to enter the NCAA Basketball transfer portal, with the deadline coming on Thursday. There are expected to be some big names enter the last minute and one that entered is Andrew Taylor, one of the top scorers in the country last season.

Taylor started all 110 games in his career at Marshall and rarely was off the floor. He was a double-digit scorer in the first few years but had a breakout senior campaign this past season. The 6’3 guard from Corbin, Kentucky averaged a career-high 20.2 ppg and 4.7 apg, shooting 42% from the field and 36% from the three-point line.

He shot a whopping 19 field goal attempts a game and was able to have some huge performances this past season. Taylor had six games of at least 25 points, including a career-high 33 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists against Coastal Carolina. He had a nine-assist game against Appalachian State, along with a 19-9-8 near triple-double against Southern Miss.

Even though he’s a late entrant into the transfer portal, there are still plenty of NCAA Basketball that could still use Taylor for the next season. He’s not the greatest defender and still a little ball-dominant but was able to play well next to star guard, Taevion Kinsey in the backcourt.

Here’s a look at 10 programs that could realistically use Taylor and could make room for him in the backcourt.
