Indiana Hoosiers

The Hoosiers got good news this offseason with starting point guard Xavier Johnson getting his injury waiver for another year. And they’ve been busy rebuilding the frontcourt, landing three transfer forwards. But the team hasn’t been able to get another guard and has yet to replace both Jalen Hood-Schifino and Tamar Bates.

Taylor and Johnson in a backcourt together have their pros and cons since both like to have the ball in their hands. But since it worked with Kinsey and Johnson isn’t as prolific a scorer, I can see this being a viable option with Indiana after missing on previous targets in the portal.

Iowa Hawkeyes

Under Coach Fran McCaffery, the Hawkeyes have had one of the best scoring offenses in all of NCAA Basketball. They not only lost its two star scorers in Kris Murray and Filip Rebraca, but the team also lost starting point guard, Ahron Ulis. He only averaged 6.0 ppg and the team has a chance to upgrade at that position this offseason.

If you’re Taylor, you could be the next 20 ppg scorer for Iowa now that the Murrays are gone and his efficiency could improve as well. He can play at the Big Ten level and would be the lead option next to returning guard, Tony Perkins.
