17. Jimmy Bell – West Virginia to Mississippi State

2022-23 season stats: 4.8 ppg and 5.2 rpg

Arguably the biggest player in the NCAA Basketball transfer portal, Bell is listed at 6’11 and 270 pounds. He started most of the games at center for West Virginia and was a good interior presence. Bell also had some good offensive games, including 18 points and 10 rebounds against Buffalo. He’ll be a good backup option for starter Tolu Smith at the five-spot and is a good body to have at the SEC level.

16. Michael O’Connell – Stanford to NC State

2022-23 season stats: 5.3 ppg and 3.1 apg

The 6’2 guard is a three-year starter from Stanford, who shot 40% from the field and had a near 2:1 assist-to-turnover ratio. O’Connell is a capable passer overall, including a career-high 12 assists against Washington. He’s the 6th transfer pickup for the Wolfpack and the 4th guard but also the lone true point guard as well. He’ll replace Terquavion Smith in that department and should be the last addition to the roster.

15. Jarius Hicklen – North Florida to Oklahoma State

2022-23 season stats: 12.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, and 3.2 apg

The 6’3 guard was a double-digit scorer in each of the last two years as a D-I player but doubled up his passing numbers compared to the season prior. Hicklen shot roughly the same from the three-point line compared to the field overall and went for a season-high 25 points in the ASUN Tournament against Bellarmine. He joins the backcourt at OK State to provide depth alongside Bryce Thompson and John-Michael Wright.
