Nate Calmese – Lamar Cardinals

2022-23 season stats: 17.6 ppg and 2.0 apg

As a freshman, Calmese led Lamar in scoring, shooting 48% from the field and 37% from three-point range. He’s more of an off-guard as a 6’2 scorer and had 15 games of at least 20 points, including 32 points against Houston Christian. Calmese also had 27 points on 5/7 shooting from deep versus Incarnate Word. Going from the Southland to the ACC is a big leap but he has three years of eligibility for any team that lands him.

Anthony Dell’Orso – Campbell Fighting Camels

2022-23 season stats: 12.5 ppg and 5.8 rpg

Dell’Orso is a 6’6 guard/wing from Australia that was an impact freshman in the Big South. He shot 49% from the field and averaged nearly 20 ppg in the final 10 games of the season, including  26 points and 10 rebounds against High Point and 23 versus Radford. He also has three years remaining and Pitt could double up on Big South transfers after landing Austin.

PJ Fuller – Washington Huskies

2022-23 season stats: 6.2 ppg and 2.5 apg

Fuller is a 6’4 guard from Seattle that started 50 combined games in four years at both TCU and Washington. He’s only a career 39% shooting and isn’t very efficient overall. Fuller had seven double-digit scoring games, including 13 points and six assists against Gonzaga. He’d provide a veteran presence in the backcourt and could take up 15-20 mpg in his lone season for Pitt.
