Kansas freshman guard Gradey Dick /

149. . Wing. Oklahoma City Thunder. Gradey Dick. 12. player

The former Gatorade High School Player of the Year was as good as advertised in his lone year at Kansas, averaging 14.1 ppg and 5.1 rpg while shooting 40% from three-point range and 85% from the free throw line. Dick is the prototypical “3 and D” wing that’s capable of scoring in bunches and should have one of the higher floors among the prospects in this range.

The Thunder doesn’t have to swing for the fences with this pick since they won 40 games without last season’s No. 2 overall pick, Chet Holmgren. Adding another capable shooter to pair with guards Josh Giddey and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander can only help maximize the overall offense.

player. 38. . SG. Orlando Magic. Keyonte George. 11

George was the Big 12 Rookie of the Year, second on the team with 15.3 ppg and 2.8 apg. The 6’4 guard did shoot under 40% from the field and was sporadic with his shot selection but is capable of going off at any time. He went for 32 points against West Virginia and had six three-pointers in a game versus Kansas State. The former five-star prospect is the kind of athlete and proven scorer whose games should translate smoothly to the next level.

Orlando did well with last year’s No. 1 pick, Paolo Banchero, and wing Franz Wagner had a breakout season. The weakness is on the perimeter, as Cole Anthony and Markelle Fultz are currently the best guards on the roster. They’re in big need of a scoring guard and George could very well come in and be the best of the group or at least provide a scoring punch to balance out the lineup.
