Los Angeles Clippers. Kobe Bufkin. 30. player. 77. . Guard

Bufkin had a big breakout sophomore season, averaging 14.0 ppg and 2.9 apg at Michigan on 36% shooting from deep. He was a capable passer and facilitator and still fairly young too, making him a worthy flyer in the late part of the round. The All-Big Ten guard had four 20+ point games in the final part of the season, including a season-high 28 versus Wisconsin in overtime.

The Clippers have a decision to make with pending free agent guard Russell Westbrook. Plus, they’re going to want an offensive option to add to the roster since it’s almost a given that star wings Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will miss time with various injuries going forward. Bufkin can fill whatever role is needed in the backcourt and have an immediate impact.

100. . Wing. Indiana Pacers. Jordan Walsh. 29. player

Walsh didn’t showcase a ton of offensive potential in his freshman year at Arkansas, averaging 7.1 ppg and 3.9 rpg as a starter. He didn’t shoot extremely well and he only went from more than 13 points once, going for 18 against Bradley. But where Walsh shines is on the defensive end, using his 6’7 frame and long wingspan to guard several positions on the court. He’s the kind of player that with more development can become a key rotation piece for any team.

With guys like Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, and hopefully, Jarace Walker, the Pacers are going to be very good offensively. But tightening up the defense is going to be important as well and if they don’t take an international player to stash, Walsh is someone with a high ceiling worth taking.
