6. Tennessee Volunteers

The frontcourt is set to look different for the Vols next season. Big man Uros Plavsic hasn’t indicated if he’ll be back for an extra year and could go pro overseas, while Olivier Nkamhoua has already transferred out. They still have Jonas Aidoo and four-star frontcourt commit J.P. Estrella joining the team but neither have the defensive reputation as Udeh.

There’s a high upside for both sides here. Tennessee has added some offensive firepower via the transfer portal, such as Dalton Knecht and Chris Ledlum. But the Vols’ identity is with its defense and Udeh would be the ideal anchor and give the team the balance needed to contend in the SEC next season.

5. Arkansas Razorbacks

After landing five perimeter transfers, it’s a little surprising that Arkansas hasn’t landed a frontcourt player. That could very well change, with Makhel Mitchell having transferred out, leaving Trevon Brazile and Makhi Mitchell as the centers on the roster. Jalen Graham is also coming back to fill out the four-spot as well.

The issue for the Razorbacks is that if the other Mitchell leaves this offseason, their frontcourt becomes extremely thin and vulnerable next season. Udeh would give them both the size and interior defense to remain contenders and alongside a healthy Brazile would be a nightmare to score on.
