4. Missouri Tigers

The Tigers landed four D-I transfers this offseason but so far, the only frontcourt addition was Jesus Carralero from Campbell. The two key returning forwards are Noah Carter and Kobe Brown, though Brown is in the NBA Draft process and is a potential grad transfer as well. Carter is a 6’7 frontcourt that played some undersized forward but with Mohamed Diarra gone, there’s literally no size on the roster left.

Missouri has tried to land a big body but has failed, with WVU transfer Jimmy Bell the latest miss for the program. It’s a new-look roster that can’t rely on several wings to provide all the scoring and needs to get better defensively. They could definitely use Udeh and offer plenty of playing time next season.

3. Memphis Tigers

The Tigers have literally no true centers on the roster right now. Deandre Williams finally has no more eligibility left, while Malcolm Dandrige transferred out. And they’ve missed out on a few targets in the portal too, including Jamarion Sharp of Western Kentucky.

Coach Penny Hardaway has had his fair share of five-star centers, including James Wiseman and Jalen Duren. Udeh is similar to another former Memphis big man, Moussa Cisse when it comes to being defensive-oriented. It’s an opportunity for Udeh to play and dominate at the AAC level and have no competition to deal with at the center position.
