The NCAA Basketball transfer portal closed last Thursday for players that weren’t grad transfers. Which meant that dozens of D-I players weren’t entering every day. However, there are still some seniors out there that can enter going forward and are big enough names to get some national attention.

One of them is Zyon Pullin, a 6’4 guard from Pleasant Hill, California. He’s a three-year starter at UC Riverside, scoring in double figures in all three of them. This past season was the best for the playmaking guard, leading the team with a career-high 18.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg, and 4.2 apg on 49% shooting from the field and 39% from deep, though he took just 66 attempts.

Pullin was consistently great for UC Riverside, scoring no fewer than eight points in all 29 games. He started out with 23 points and six points on the road at LMU, while also going for 30 points on 5/6 shooting from deep against San Diego. The senior had a 9-assist game against Cal State Northridge, along with 28 points and 10 rebounds versus Cal Poly. He’s a quality scorer that can get to the basket and has a mid-range shot, while also good at facilitating for others.

Pullin becomes the newest star point guard that enters the transfer portal and has one year left of eligibility for next season. Despite many ball-handlers having entered the portal throughout this offseason, there are still a number of power conference NCAA Basketball programs that could definitely use his services.

Here’s a look at 10 programs that could very well get in the mix for the grad transfer from UC Riverside.
