Ole Miss Rebels

With Daeshun Ruffin off to Jackson State, Ole Miss, and new head coach Chris Beard are still in need of a point guard to run the offense. They landed Arizona State transfer Austin Nunez but he’s an unproven combo guard, while Georgetown transfer guard/wing Brandon Murray may have to sit out next season.

The Rebels were reportedly a contender to land 20 ppg scoring guard Andrew Taylor from Marshall. However, he ended up going to rival Mississippi State instead. The team is set in the frontcourt, adding elite interior defenders, Moussa Cisse and Jamarion Sharp. They just need some offense from the perimeter to balance it out and Pullin is one of the top options left to do that for them.

UCLA Bruins

The Bruins have had to be patient this offseason, as all five starters are in the NBA Draft. That includes starting point guard Tyger Campbell, who very likely is staying. The program still has Dylan Andrews and Will McClendon but neither are proven in extended minutes.

Meanwhile, local rival USC has multiple ball-handlers, including top-3 incoming freshman Isaiah Collier and top-40 commit, Bronny James. UCLA needs to make a splash of its own and you can argue that they’re the local option for Pullin, who can stay close to home and likely start for a national blue blood program.
