NCAA Basketball transfer candidate – Kobe Brown (Missouri Tigers)

2022-23 season stats: 15.8 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 2.5 apg

The 6’7 forward has 118 career starts as a four-year starter and has seen production slowly climb from 5.8 ppg as a freshman to an All-SEC star. He led the Tigers in both scoring and rebounding, leading them to the NCAA Tournament.

Brown is one of the best power forwards in NCAA Basketball, capable of some huge games. He went for 31 points, eight rebounds, and four steals in a win over Illinois this past season, along with 20 points and 12 rebounds versus Iowa State. He has an all-around game as well and is an underrated passer too.

Brown is already 23 years old, making him one of the oldest players in the NBA Draft if he stays. His stock isn’t going to get any higher and the hope is that he can get a second-round grade to leave college. He very well could return as the focal point of Missouri’s offense, though the team has an entirely new supporting cast in the backcourt this offseason.

Brown is from Huntsville, Alabama and the Crimson Tide has yet to get a power forward this offseason to replace freshman Noah Clowney. With the chance to return close to home and play for a preseason contender, Alabama sticks out as a legit option. But with a portal class void of power forwards, Brown would get plenty of offers elsewhere too.
