4. Ven-Allen Lubin – Notre Dame to Vanderbilt

2022-23 season stats: 6.2 ppg and 4.4 rpg

The former top-60 prospect out of high school played just under 20 mpg largely coming off the bench. The 6’8 forward shot 58% from the field and had eight double-digit scoring games. That includes 10 points and 13 rebounds versus St. Bonaventure, as well as a season-high 19 points against Wake Forest.

Lubin joins a completely empty frontcourt after multiple forwards left, including Myles Stute and Quentin Milora-Brown. He projects to be the starting forward for Vanderbilt and a focal point of the offense. He showed glimpses of being a potential star with the Irish and could be the next breakout star in the SEC.

3. Jaylin Sellers – Ball State to UCF

2022-23 season stats: 13.5 ppg and 3.7 rpg

One of the top shooters in the entire transfer portal, Sellers shot 45% from three-point range on four attempts per game. The All-MAC guard was second on the team in scoring, including 24 points against Illinois State. He even went a perfect 5/5 from deep for 17 points against Bowling Green.

Sellers is the third perimeter addition for the Knights, joining Shemarri Allen and Jaykwon Walton. With Ithiel Horton back, UCF is going to have a quality shooting team as they head into the Big 12. The concerns with the lack of frontcourt depth still remain but the offense could be explosive for them.
