6. Rayj Dennis – Toledo Rockets

2022-23 season stats: 19.6 ppg, 4.3 rpg, and 5.8 apg

Dennis was the MAC Player of the Year this past season, leading the league in passing and second in points. He went for 17 points and 12 assists against Oakland in non-con play, along with a season-high 32 points on 12/20 shooting against Ball State. The senior playmaker is one of the more consistent players in NCAA Basketball, scoring in double figures in every game last season.

Dennis’s recruitment has taken a while since he’s also in the NBA Draft process. But he’s gone on a few visits, including to Illinois, Utah, Baylor, and Michigan. Although the Illini has been the long-rumored favorite to land the transfer, they’ll have to sweat it out for the next couple of days.

5. Ron Holland – Duncanville High School

2022-23 season stats: N/A in NCAA Basketball

Holland is a consensus top-5 prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He’s a 6’8 combo forward with great offensive potential and a projected one-and-done future NBA player. The five-star recruit is the lone top-100 player to not commit anywhere at this point, though he formerly was set to play for Texas at the start of the offseason.

The rumor for the Texas native is that Holland will play for either the NBA G League or Arkansas. The Razorbacks could become a preseason top-5 team for next season if they were to land him after already having a ton of incoming transfer additions in the backcourt.
