4. Arthur Kaluma – Creighton Bluejays

2022-23 season stats: 11.8 ppg and 6.0 rpg

Kaluma may have been the 5th-leading scorer in the Bluejays’ lineup but the former top-50 prospect is a quality offensive player capable of going off. The 6’7 forward went for 27 points against BYU, along with 20 points and nine rebounds versus Xavier. He improved his shooting as well compared to his freshman campaign, making 31% from deep this past season.

When Kaluma entered the portal, it was weeks after he originally entered the NBA Draft process. The early view is that he’d want to stay pro but if he does return, look for a huge recruitment for the power forward’s services.

3. Tyler Burton – Richmond Spiders

2022-23 season stats: 19.0 ppg and 7.4 rpg

The third-leading scorer in the Atlantic 10 spent four years at Richmond, three of them as a high-scoring starter. Burton had 15 games of at least 20 points, including a career-high 38 against College of Charleston. The 6’7 wing was in double figures all of last season, though he did shoot under 30% from three-point range.

Burton is one of the newest players to enter the NCAA Basketball transfer portal, so there isn’t much to say about his recruitment. And he very well could go pro after his big scoring season since he’s already up there in age. But he’s arguably the best true wing in the portal and a proven high-level producer among the top conferences.
