9. Zyon Pullin – UC Riverside Highlanders

2022-23 season stats: 18.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg, and 4.2 apg

The 6’4 guard out of California was in the top-3 in both points and assists in the Big West this past season, including a 30-point and 6-assist performance against San Diego. Pullin is easily one of the top guards available and has one extra year left. He’s still in the NBA Draft process as well and has had a fairly quiet recruitment since entering the portal. Expect that to pick up after Wednesday’s draft decision.

8. Tyrin Lawrence – Vanderbilt Commodores

2022-23 season stats: 13.1 ppg and 4.4 rpg

Getting twice the minutes compared to the season prior, the 6’4 guard increased his scoring production by around 10 points to be second in scoring for Vandy. Lawrence shot over 50% from the field and 36% from three-point range. He’s also in the NBA Draft process and teams such as Auburn and Texas Tech have been after him. But a reunion with the Commodores also could occur as well.

7. Caleb Love – North Carolina Tar Heels

2022-23 season stats: 16.7 ppg and 2.8 apg

The 6’4 guard already had committed to Michigan early this offseason but had to part ways. Love led UNC in scoring this past season and has back-to-back 29+ point games in the NCAA Tournament as a sophomore. He’s a very talented shot-maker but can be inefficient at times. Reportedly, Arizona, Gonzaga, and Texas are the next set of teams looking to land the combo guard.
