NBA Draft
Kansas freshman guard Gradey Dick /

15. Gradey Dick – Kansas Jayhawks

2022-23 season stats: 14.1 ppg and 5.1 rpg

The 6’8 sharpshooting wing was good as advertised as a freshman, second on the team in scoring and making over 40% of his three-point shots. Dick was a bit inconsistent on offense but his size and shooting ability gives him one of the higher floors in the entire NBA Draft from a role standpoint.

14. Amari Bailey – UCLA Bruins

2022-23 season stats: 11.2 ppg and 2.2 apg

Bailey is a former top-10 overall prospect that really struggled in the first half of his freshman season as the 4th scoring option. But once Jaylen Clark went down, the 6’5 shooting guard showed his potential, averaging nearly 20 ppg in the final month of UCLA’s season. He’s a quality shot-maker that didn’t have the largest role but at the right spot in the NBA, could be a future all-star if he continues to develop.

13. Dariq Whitehead – Duke Blue Devils

2022-23 season stats: 8.3 ppg and 2.4 rpg

Like Smith, Whitehead’s lone NCAA Basketball season was derailed by injuries in the preseason. He mostly came off the bench but still had some big games, including 18 points versus Boston College and 16 against Miami in the ACC Tournament. The 6’7 wing shot over 42% from three-point range and has an NBA-ready body so expect Whitehead’s pro career to go more smoothly than at Duke.
