9. Jalen Hood-Schifino – Indiana Hoosiers

2022-23 season stats: 13.5 ppg and 3.7 apg

The former five-star prospect started all 32 games at Indiana and took over the offense once Xavier Johnson got hurt. The Big Ten Rookie of the Year had some huge scoring games, including 33 points against Northwestern and 35 versus Purdue. Hood-Schifino is a 6’6 combo guard that can play and defend both perimeter positions and is a good defender as well. With a more consistent three-point shot, he has a chance to be a future all-star.

8. Cason Wallace – Kentucky Wildcats

2022-23 season stats: 11.7 ppg and 4.3 apg

There were bigger names for Kentucky but the most consistent player was Wallace, a 6’4 guard and former five-star prospect. He had a few big scoring games and also dropped 11 assists in a game against Mississippi State, while also developing a potential for being a lock-down defender. Like many former Kentucky players, Wallace will benefit from a larger role elsewhere and with no real weaknesses, projects to being a complete NBA player that can fit on any team.

7. Noah Clowney – Alabama Crimson Tide

2022-23 season stats: 9.8 ppg and 7.9 rpg

The former top-100 prospect started all 36 games at Alabama and was a surprise breakout performer. Clowney, a 6’10 true power forward, was the best individual defender on a top-5 team defense this past season. He’s one of the younger players in the NBA Draft as well with one of the highest ceilings overall. If Clowney continues developing a three-point shot, he’ll end up being a star going forward.
