36. Ben Sheppard – Belmont Bruins

2022-23 season stats: 18.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg, and 2.9 apg

The 6’6 wing was great for Belmont in the Ohio Valley Conference and was able to elevate his game in a better league with the program moved to the Missouri Valley Conference. Sheppard shot 42% from deep and made the all-defensive team in the MVC as well. He’s a sneaky 1st-round candidate due to his “3 and D” potential in the coming days.

35. Tosan Evbuomwan – Princeton Tigers

2022-23 season stats: 15.1 ppg, 6.3 rpg, and 4.9 apg

The former Ivy League Player of the Year is the rare “point forward”, as the 6’7 forward initiates the offense for Princeton. The versatility and playmaking ability Evboumwan offers make him an appealing NBA Draft prospect but the concern here is that he doesn’t spread the floor and that he won’t provide enough offensively to stick on a team long-term. But his skillset ultimately makes that unlikely.

34. Andre Jackson – UConn Huskies

2022-23 season stats: 6.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 4.7 apg

Jackson will be the biggest test for guards that can’t shoot but are elite at everything else. He was fantastic for UConn in its national title run and his overall versatility makes him a first-round option. Jackson can play and defend four positions and is a quality rebounder and passer. If he becomes a threat from deep in the slightest, he’ll be an NBA veteran for a long time.
