NCAA Basketball: Top 50 players from 2023 NBA Draft most likely to succeed
30. Brice Sensabaugh – Ohio State Buckeyes
2022-23 season stats: 16.3 ppg and 5.4 rpg
It was a mixed bag for the 6’6 wing in his lone year at Ohio State. Sensabaugh was one of the most prolific freshmen scorers in all of NCAA Basketball and shot 41% from three-point range. But when he did his best on offense, the team cradled as a result, whether coincidentally or not. He’s a natural “3 and D” prospect but the right spot could very determine whether Sensabaugh has a long career or gets lost in the shuffle.
29. Jett Howard – Michigan Wolverines
2022-23 season stats: 14.2 ppg and 2.8 rpg
Howard had a similar kind of campaign as Sensabaugh in that his production didn’t have any winning impact. He actually was a fairly bad defender and doesn’t rebound much, despite having a 6’8 frame. Still, Howard has high potential as a pure scorer and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he can average around 15 ppg as an NBA player. The question would be whether or not he can stay on the floor on the defensive end.
28. Kobe Brown – Missouri Tigers
2022-23 season stats: 15.8 ppg and 6.4 rpg
The 6’7 forward proved to be an offensive mismatch in all four years as a starter for the Tigers. Brown shot a whopping 55% from the field and 46% from three-point range, including several 20+ point performances. Brown is a natural scorer, both inside and out and even though he’d be a bit undersized as a power forward, his shooting touch should help offset that.
