25. Treveon Graham
A 6’6 wing from Temple Hills, Maryland, Graham made the trek down to VCU, joining the program just after Shaka Smart led the Rams to a historic Final Four in 2011. Members of the CAA at the time, the Rams would join the A-10 in 2012, coinciding with Graham’s ascension to a starting role. However, in line with this article we’ll just focus on his two upperclassman seasons since they occurred after 2013.
Already a dynamic scorer as a sophomore, Graham would average 16.0 points and 7.1 rebounds across his final two seasons, with very similar numbers. One difference was that his 3-point shooting improved in his senior year, making 38% of his long-range shots. He had a career-high 34 points against Old Dominion during that season and helped lead the Rams to the A-10 Tournament title in just their third season in the conference.
Graham earned First Team All-A-10 honors as both a junior and senior and was named A-10 Tournament MVP to finish off his career. He was a top-level scorer in the conference and helped lead VCU to the NCAA Tournament in each of his seasons in the lineup. Graham was a very effective weapon all over the court for the Rams and was their leading scorer for the beginning of their days in this new conference.
