20. Jordan Goodwin
One of the Billiken’s best pieces in recent memory, Goodwin is a 6’3 wing originally from Centreville, Illinois, a town just a few miles away from Saint Louis. A Top 60 recruit from the class of 2017, Goodwin was a major part of Travis Ford’s first recruiting class with the Billikens and was a full-time starter for all four of his seasons at Saint Louis.
A major contributor right off the bat, Goodwin averaged 11.5 points and 7.5 rebounds during a solid freshman campaign, including the first of many double-doubles just three games into his career. As a sophomore he played in the only NCAA Tournament of his career, helping the Billikens to a surprise A-10 Tournament championship. He’d average at least 14 points and 10 rebounds per game in each of his upperclassmen seasons and also shot the ball better at the tail end of his career.
Goodwin was named First Team All-A-10 for those last two seasons and emerged as the best rebounder in the conference. He also finished in the Top 5 in the A-10 in steals per game in each of his collegiate seasons, while his offensive contributions were very important for the Billikens. After a rough period prior to his arrival, Goodwin helped get this program back into contention in the A-10 and keyed what was a much better defensive squad as well.
