NBA Draft Big East Basketball

The NBA Draft has officially concluded, and Big East Basketball has seen some solid representation in the 58 selections. Now, it is time for these guys to get to work, all the scouting, interviewing, and everything in between is over.

These new rookies are looking to join a growing group of studs that have come out of the Big East in recent years such as Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, Max Strus, and Sandro Mamukelashvili as guys that have made waves coming out of this conference.

In seeing players get selected in the first round, the conference continues to legitimize itself as a conference that can get players into the NBA, and seeing players shine at the next level is a tremendous help in that. These players will have to also do the same when it comes to representing the Big East on a worldwide stage, the NBA.

While there was only one player in the lottery, there were multiple total first-round picks, with this class showing plenty of promise and NBA teams willing to use their selections on that promise.

This group sees a variety of older players and younger players to hear their names called, so they will all play different roles with their squads heading into this upcoming season.

Now that the handshakes with commissioner Adam Silver and the waking up from the dream that is hearing one’s name called on draft night, it is time to see how these players will fit with their new teams.
