Miami Hurricanes

The frontcourt depth for the Hurricanes is a bit slim on paper. Double-double machine Norchad Omier is back, with freshman Michael Nwoko behind him. But at the four-spot are AJ Casey and Florida State transfer Matthew Cleveland, two natural wings who’ll have to play mostly as power forwards next season.

Adding Mitchell would boost the roster’s depth and since Omier is a bit undersized, give Miami another big to throw against larger lineups like the ones Duke and UNC has. Plus, this option is known for having favorable NIL packages, something the senior big man will likely look for.

Missouri Tigers

It was a very successful first year for coach Dennis Gates, taking Missouri to the NCAA Tournament and having a top-tier offense. The star forward of the team, Kobe Brown, made the first round of the NBA Draft. So this would be a nice option for Mitchell to come in and try to replicate that success.

The Tigers have lacked frontcourt depth for a while but did land Oral Roberts transfer, Connor Vanover. Noah Carter is back and can play multiple positions, along with transfer Jesus Carralero. Still, they could use one more player, and on a completely revamped roster, Mitchell can come in and have a leading role.
