Cincinnati Bearcats

The Bearcats are going to the Big 12 and need to add as much talent as possible. Mikas Adams-Woods recently transferred out to St. Bonaventure, leading four-star guard Jizzle James and JUCO transfer, DaVeon Thomas as the primary lead guards on offense.

Cincinnati did add two key off-guard transfers in CJ Fredrick and Simas Lukosius but another veteran ball-handler is what they’re missing. And depending on what happens with the waiver process for both Jamile Reynolds and Aziz Bandaogo, the backcourt players will have to lead them next season; and Kriisa could be leading that group.

Illinois Fighting Illini

After missing out on multiple targets this offseason, it looked as if Illinois found its point guard for next season in Jeremiah Williams. He was a transfer from Iowa State that missed all of last year with an injury. Well, the Illini won’t have to debate whether he’s a good fit because they reportedly parted ways on Friday.

So the team is back to square one to find a ball-handler and not force Terrence Shannon Jr. to play on the ball for another year. Kriisa would be a nice fit for the program and is the proven ball-handler to run the offense. Plus, he won’t take up much of the scoring usage since there are already plenty of offensive threats on the roster.
