Michigan Wolverines

The Wolverines have been looking for another backcourt player ever since Caleb Love couldn’t get admitted to the University. The good news is that Alabama transfer Nimari Burnett reportedly is set to graduate and be eligible to play next season, likely to be slid toward the three-spot.

Having another ball-handler on the roster is important and Dug McDaniel is capable of playing off the ball if Kriisa were to come in. This is a roster that still needs some talent in the backcourt and after seeing Kobe Bufkin become a 1st-round NBA Draft, Michigan is certainly an interesting option for available players with pro aspirations.

Memphis Tigers

The Tigers do have a few guards on the roster but are any of them true ball-handlers that can start? Florida State transfer Caleb Mills is more of an off-guard, while former UCF guard Jayhlon Young is more of a backup than a starter. Then there’s Mikey Williams, a five-star prospect that’s currently dealing with legal troubles and his status is unknown for next season.

Kriisa could come in and excel at the AAC level and make Memphis potentially the team to beat in the league. There are plenty of individual pieces on the roster on the wings but without anyone to steer them in the right direction, they’re doomed to fail. If nothing else, Kriisa is able to do that for Memphis.
