Nebraska Cornhuskers

In the first go-around, Nebraska was a reported finalist for Kriisa’s services. And the team hasn’t added anyone that’s above him from a talent standpoint. The two incoming guard transfers are Charlotte sharpshooter Brice Williams and Iowa transfer, Ahron Ulis. Ulis was a starter at Iowa last season but averaged just 6.1 ppg and 2.1 apg.

For the Cornhuskers to get back into the NCAA Tournament picture, they’re going to need more talent. Giving Kriisa both Williams and returning guard Keisei Tominaga would allow him to put up absurd assist numbers and give them one of the top offenses in all of the Big Ten. And that could be enough to get them in the postseason.

Xavier Musketeers

Sean Miller was originally Kriisa’s coach in his first year at Arizona but they never got a chance to get things going. But the coach had an excellent first season with the Musketeers, making the Sweet 16. Souley Boum is gone but replacing them are Western Kentucky transfer Dayvion McKnight and former Rice guard, Quincy Olivari.

The concern is that those mid-major transfers might not work out in what’s going to be a very difficult Big East. Kriisa is a proven power conference contributor and has committed to Coach Miller before so maybe he can do it again? Although, how he’d fit with McKnight on the court will be an interesting storyline if this were to occur.
