Jaime Jaquez just seems like he was destined to be a Miami Heat. He was a fairly divisive prospect, but as a long-time Jaquez believer, this felt like a match made in heaven. I cannot wait for him to randomly swing an Eastern Conference playoff game.

Last week, I wrote that Dayton’s Toumani Camara may be an underrated player in this draft class. The Suns, in desperate need of bodies, took him at 52 and Camara’s defensive versatility and willingness to do the little things should help them right away.

Players like Olivier-Maxence Prosper, Andre Jackson, Julian Phillips, and Jordan Walsh all had interesting “stay or go” decisions regarding the draft, but it seems as all made the right choice as they all went top 40 and are in line for guaranteed deals.

Former All-Americans Oscar Tshebwe and Drew Timme, and reigning Final 4 MVP Adama Sanogo all went undrafted. This is just another stark reminder that the old-school big man has way more value at the collegiate level than the pro level.
