Miami Hurricanes

The Hurricanes are without 1/2 of one of NCAA Basketball’s best backcourt duos with ACC Player of the Year guard Isaiah Wong gone. Sharpshooter Nijel Pack is back and he’s able to play on and off the ball. Among the other ball-handler options on the roster are Bensley Joseph and Jakai Robinson.

Coming off the program’s first-ever Final Four appearance, Miami is in good shape to make another potential deep run. They not only bring back both Pack and big man Norchad Omier but they also added Florida State wing transfer, Matthew Cleveland. They’re one more starter away from having expectations of another deep NCAA Tournament run and Quinerly, who’d be a natural fit with Pack, can be that missing piece.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish

The Irish are a team in complete rebuild under new head coach, Micah Shrewsberry. They added a few transfers, including former Northwestern guard, Julian Roper. This is a roster that on paper, is one of the worst in all of NCAA Basketball for next season. They are reportedly after Rutgers transfer Paul Mulcahy and if they miss out on him, could focus on Quinerly.

The selling point with the Irish is that Quinerly would get a ton of minutes and be the best player on the roster. And in an offensive system that could allow the senior guard to showcase his skills, maybe Quinerly could go on a rise like Jalen Pickett, the Penn State guard that ended up as an NBA Draft pick.
