Kansas State Wildcats

The Wildcats are a team that’s been after a number of guards to pair with North Texas transfer, Tylor Perry. He can play both on and off the ball so the team could reasonably add either a shooting guard or point guard. Kansas State reportedly is after Joe Toussaint but after West Virginia hired an assistant on the staff, there’s a chance that he opts to stay there after all.

If that doesn’t work out, Horton could be a nice pivot for Kansas State. They did well with a similar guard like Desi Sills last season and this would be a spot where the former Knight would get minutes. Plus, he’d get a chance to play UCF at least once next season in Big 12 play.

Michigan Wolverines

Like Kansas State and Indiana, the Wolverines have consistently been in the mix for at least one more guard to round out the roster. The good news for them is that Alabama transfer Nimari Burnett will be eligible to play next season as the projected starting wing. However, they’re still open at the two-spot after former commit Caleb Love ended up at Arizona.

With Dug McDaniel back as the starting point guard, Michigan needs another offensive threat in the backcourt, even more than a ball-handler. Horton is someone they can start at the two-spot and could be a more realistic option than with others they’ve targeted this offseason.
