10. Rob Marberry

A talented frontcourt weapon, Marberry is a 6’7 forward from Nashville who began his collegiate career at Western Kentucky. After scoring just 24 points as a freshman, Marberry would transfer, sitting out a year before landing at Lipscomb in 2016. His next three years with the Bisons were significantly more successful.

Marberry averaged 12.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in his first season at Lipscomb, in what was his redshirt sophomore year. His shooting increased over the next two seasons, averaging 15.9 points per game as a junior and hitting 63% of his field goals as a senior. He helped take the Bisons to the NCAA Tournament in 2018, with a pair of 30-point performances late in the season, and played a key role in Lipscomb’s run to the NIT title game during his senior year.

Each season Marberry spent in the ASUN ended with him named All-ASUN, getting First Team honors in Lipscomb’s fantastic seasons in 2018 and 2019. Marberry led the conference in field goal percentage in both of those seasons and was one of the most efficient scorers in all of mid-major basketball. He was among the ASUN’s most efficient players, ranked great in most of the offensive metrics, and won 72 games in his three years in Nashville.
