25. Eric Paschall

Villanova will be well-represented on today’s list and Paschall is an excellent start for the Wildcats. A 6’8 forward from Dobbs Ferry, New York, he began his collegiate career back in 2014 at Fordham, spending a year starting for the Rams. He’d decided to transfer to Villanova, sitting out one season before playing three for the Wildcats, winning a national championship in his junior season.

Paschall was mostly used off the bench as a sophomore but got significant minutes with decent numbers. He’d average 10.6 points a game as a junior, highlighted by a 24-point effort against Kansas in the Final Four a few days before claiming a championship. His senior was unsurprisingly his most productive, averaging 16.5 points and 6.1 rebounds. He helped Villanova to another Big East Basketball Tournament title and was a potent offensive weapon in the conference.

There was certainly an important role that Paschall played during that title run in 2018. He was NCAA All-Tournament as a result and would have even more impressive figures the following season. Senior year gave Paschall First Team All-Big East honors as he was among the top scorers and rebounders in the conference. Villanova had a surplus of talent in that window but Paschall was certainly one of those notable names.
