This offseason, the NCAA Basketball transfer portal absolutely exploded with tons of big-time movers, and teams changing the trajectory of their program in an instant.

Whether moves are inspired by NIL, the hope for a new role and new minutes, or the goal of hyping up their draft stock in next year’s NBA Draft, these transfers have large expectations placed on them, and they have all the ability to meet them.

Big names who used to stick around one school for their entire career now can don a new jersey after just a short time. And while the transfer portal itself is nothing new, the sheer amount of athletes taking advantage of it has gone up quite a bit over the past few years.

Now, this offseason, we are seeing a portal that has the effects of this new and what appears to be an improved portal that allows athletes to expand their horizons and change scenery if they feel that will benefit them.
