25. Javian McCollum (Oklahoma)

The Oklahoma Sooners needed some extra talent to bring their program back to its expectations, and Javian McCollum adds dynamic guard ability to Porter Moser’s squad. The soon-to-be junior guard doubled his minutes and his scoring this season, putting up 15.9 points per game for the Sienna Saints along with 3.9 assists per game.

Oklahoma picked up McCollum early in the offseason after six of their players entered the transfer portal. Oklahoma now has one of the better transfer classes in the nation and hopes to rise from the bottom of the Big 12 before it enters the SEC.
At 6’2, he is a guy that may be a bit undersized but can still handle the ball and score when called upon. He can be what Umoja Gibson was for this team before he ended up transferring to DePaul for his final season.

McCollumn is one of those dynamic guards that every squad needs to have on their lineup, and for a program that has great expectations year and in and year out, getting a transfer of McCollumn’s caliber was huge for the Sooners, it is now up to Moser to get the most out of his skillset and potential.
