9. Trayce Jackson-Davis

A highly-touted recruit from 2019, Jackson-Davis is a 6’9 forward who made his way to Indiana. He had quite the impact in his four seasons with the Hoosiers, becoming a total part of the program. He started all 126 games in Bloomington, was an important weapon for two different head coaches, and put up some pretty great numbers in the process.

As a freshman in the season eventually shortened by the pandemic, Jackson-Davis put up decent numbers, averaging 13.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Though the Hoosiers struggled the next year, his numbers improved, and Jackson-Davis would average at least 18 points a game in his final three seasons. As a junior, he dropped a career-high 43 points in a win over Marshall and got Indiana back to the Big Dance. For his final season, he’d average 20.9 points and 10.8 rebounds a game, including three 20-rebound efforts during conference play.

Jackson-Davis was an impressive frontcourt weapon who finished his career with 2,258 career points, among the very best in the Big Ten. He was a First Team All-American as a senior, winning the Karl Malone Award and pacing the Hoosiers on a great bounce-back late in his career. He was one of the very best rebounders and shot blockers in both the conference and the country as a whole and made tremendous waves on both sides of the ball with Indiana.
