St. John’s Red Storm

After landing former UNC commit Simeon Wilcher, the Red Storm don’t have any scholarships left. However, the program is willing to add walk-ons and reportedly, Ledlum is willing to go that route. Plus, the Big East program was already in the mix for the local transfer target a couple of months ago.

St. John’s already has one former Ivy League star (Jordan Dingle) on its roster and could use some more frontcourt depth at the forward positions. On paper, Ledlum should have a larger role than both Quinn Slazinkski and Glenn Taylor Jr. and likely start next to Joel Soriano. Plus, he’d get the chance to play for Hall of Fame head coach, Rick Pitino.

UCLA Bruins

The Bruins had one of the best frontcourt tandems in NCAA Basketball last season in Jaime Jaquez and Jaylen Clark, who both are now playing in the NBA. So far, the team hasn’t really replaced either, with just a pair of incoming freshmen on the roster at their positions.

Brandon Williams and Devin Williams are both four-star prospects with long-term promise but UCLA could use a veteran in the frontcourt. Plus, Adem Bona isn’t much of an offensive threat so Ledlum would help balance things out in the lineup, considering how young they’ll be overall.
