22. Gabe Levin

A 6’7 forward from Oak Park, Illinois, Levin played high school in Connecticut on the east coast before ending up on the west coast for his collegiate career. He was a starting forward as a freshman at Loyola Marymount in 2014 but transferred out of the program after just one year. After sitting out a season, he’d spend three years in Dan Monson’s Long Beach State program.

As a sophomore, Levin had decent production now back on the court, contributing during a 20-win campaign for Long Beach State. His individual numbers would take a big step forward, though he’d miss half of his junior year with a knee injury. As a senior, Levin averaged 18.5 points and 7.3 rebounds, including a 45-point game against UC Davis late in the year.

Levin certainly matched his production from Loyola during those three seasons in the Big West, emerging as a great rebounder and scorer in the conference. He was named First Team All-Big West for that final campaign, albeit in a less-than-stellar season for Long Beach State as a whole. Regardless, Levin was one of the league’s very best frontcourt pieces at the end of his career and has recently continued his career in the G-League.
