25. Devin Cannady

Cannady is a 6’2 guard from Mishawa, Indiana who made his way to Princeton, joining the Tigers back in 2015. He was a significant contributor on the offensive end during his four years at Princeton, including a trip to the Big Dance early on.

Cannady averaged 11.6 points per game while coming off the bench as a freshman in a 22-win campaign for the Tigers. In his sophomore season, he was a better scorer and shooter and helped lead Princeton to an unblemished conference record and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. He put up a career-high 32-point effort at Cornell while a junior and would end up averaging 18.2 points and 5.8 rebounds during his senior year, another decent season for his Tigers.

He certainly played a role in that trip to the Big Dance and he’d earn Second Team All-Ivy honors during his junior season. Cannady flew a bit under the radar at times but was quietly a dominant shooter for Princeton, making more than 40% of his 3-pointers in his career. He also led the league in free throw shooting for three straight seasons and was one of the nation’s best from the charity stripe. Princeton had a stud shooter in Cannady and they certainly knew it.
