10. Manny Camper

Camper is a 6’7 wing from Chestertown, Maryland who found his home at Siena. He originally arrived in 2017 and would end up playing under three different head coaches during his four seasons with the Saints. Camper’s early play was adequate, mostly as a reserve, but he developed into a major weapon in the MAAC.

He played a year each under head coaches Jimmy Patsos and Jamion Christian, but really became a force in his final two seasons under current Siena coach Carmen Maciariello. Camper’s junior year saw him average 13.7 points and 10.4 rebounds a game, leading the Saints to the MAAC regular season title in the pandemic-shortened season. He even had a 22-point, 19-rebound effort early in the year against Yale. His senior year stats were just as impressive, with 14.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, and another regular season title, though he’d never play in the Big Dance.

Camper was named MAAC Player of the Year as a senior and earned First Team All-MAAC honors in both of those final years, becoming the league’s top rebounder in the process. He also ranked among the league leaders in assists as a senior and was one of the league’s most efficient playmakers. Camper was an extremely important piece for a Siena program that went 32-15 in those seasons.
