22. Brett Bisping

Bisping is a 6’8 forward from Peoria, Illinois who had a pretty solid run while at Siena. Bisping began with the Saints in 2012 on the bench but became a major contributor under new head coach Jimmy Patsos. He redshirted his junior season due to a foot injury but put up some nice numbers throughout his latter years.

He was already averaging 11.5 points per game as a sophomore but really came on strong after returning from that toe injury. As a redshirt junior, Bisping averaged 15.9 points and 10.4 rebounds a game, leading the Saints to a 21-win season. He had four different 18-rebound games and led Siena to the CBI. His numbers were slightly down, but Bisping had a solid senior season and took the Saints to another 3rd place finish in the MAAC.

The league’s top rebounder in his final two seasons, he earned First Team All-MAAC honors after averaging a double-double as a redshirt junior. Bisping’s major contributions were on the boards, but he was also a decent scorer and shot relatively well from the charity stripe for a forward at 77% for his career. Siena didn’t set the world on fire, but they got a massive boost when Bisping returned from that toe surgery in 2015.
